|“||To my foes, or my own death...||”|
|— Saint Edgar, drinking from The Chalice before battle|
Edgar is a long-dead Hammerite, sainted by the church. The actions of St. Edgar have had a Church and a Holiday named after him. Edgar has at least one book written about him. One is titled, Glory of St. Edgar. A note to Brother Partis states the book is, damaged, but legible.
Story of Saint EdgarEdit
St. Edgar was a mighty warrior. He and his men were worn from many days of battle. He prayed with The Chalice to The Master Builder, asking for the gift of death, saying, to [his] foes, or [his] own death. Drinking from the chalice, he felt The Builders strength, and his foes were defeated.
