Hammer Casting at Cragscleft

This apparatus is generally found in Hammerite and Mechanist facilities but one can also be found in New Market and in Kilgor Weapon Smithing. Although normally just for display these can sometimes be used to create items using metal molds.

There are three cauldrons located in the factory level of Cragscleft that only produce long-handled hammers, which the three operators retrieve and place into a crate at the end of the hall.

Old Hammer Cathedral

There is one cauldron in St. Tennor's that can be used to manufacture Doorknobs, Sword Hilts, Lever Handles, Gears, Keys to the cathedral's wine cellar, and Holy Symbols with the use of their corresponding MultiMold in virtually limitless numbers.

Operation

The procedure for working the cauldron is simple; there are two levers, a mold stand, a gauge, and a red light.

1. If no mold is placed on the stand place one of the MultiMold on it (only for the cauldron at the Old Hammer Cathedral);
2. pull the left lever, closing the mold;
3. pull the right lever, tipping the cauldron;
4. return the right lever when the gauge is in the red area, returning the cauldron (this also occurs automatically when the gauge reaches its highest level);
5. return the left lever, opening the mold;
6. remove the product from the mold.

Note

• Garrett uses the cauldron, along with a MultiMold, in Saint Tennor to create a Holy Symbol in the mission Return to the Cathedral to help aid a restless spirit.

Trivia

• The product does not need to be taken out before another is made, but will protrude from the mold when closed.
• If the right lever is activated instead of the left in stage five, the cauldron continues to pour indefinitely.
