Ginny was the manager of Dreckboun, a gambling den owned by Lord Bafford. He had held the position for years, and was considered by Bafford to be "a good cadge".[1] When Dreckboun's profits dropped significantly, Ginny was paid a visit by Dominic, who had been sent by Lord Bafford to investigate. Although Ginny was suspected of grafting, the real reason for the decrease in profits was the increase in Hammerite arrests of people connected with Dreckboun, which had the result of discouraging customers from coming. Dominic threatened Ginny in an attempt to persuade him to find a way to deal with the Hammerites.[2]
