The Guild of Enlightenment was a powerful governing organization of Karath-din. Like the Keepers, members of the guild were wary, prophetic, and adept in the use of magics. They acted as advisors to the emperor and, near the time of the disaster, did their best to persuade Va-Toran to evacuate the city, but were ignored. Despite this, the general absence of remains seems to indicate some success in these regards. Master Ruitan is the only known member of the guild. For reasons unknown, he declared in his speech that it was imperative that The Tower would survive the devastation.[1]
