Hodge was a Keeper and a member of the expedition of Keepers who entered The Lost City to hide the talisman of fire. His expedition consisted of Abner, Yannis, Aeric and at least two other unknown keepers. Hodge was critically injured by a group of fire elementals that had ambushed the keepers while they were on their way out of the Lost City, as they no longer held the talisman of fire to keep them at bay. The last living member of the expedition, whose name is unknown, cared for Hodge and tried to keep him alive, but Hodge became delirious, and eventually died from his wounds.[1]
