Prinkish is a language and a sign of status among people of The City. It is apparently stratified into Modern Prinkish and Old Prinkish, of which nothing is known. Lady Elizabeth is credited with the ability to write in both ancient Brillian and modern Prinkish, a skill probably developed as a student of Lady Pollock's School for Young Ladies.[1]
