Keeper Rafe's glyph marks in the Sunken Citadel
Keeper Rafe is a Keeper Elder, who died trying to recover the Glyph Key from the Kurshok in the underground Sunken Citadel. It seems he entered the Sunken Citadel without permission as Keeper Gadwall refused him "expedition status" and the Keeper Council did not vote on the matter although he did not know why. He kept a diary documenting his journey in which he wrote about a possible golden crown, tarnished with age, but had no interested in stealing it. He also left many glyph marks behind that would aid him in returning out of the citadel.
He finally found the Glyph Key but was discovered and cornered by the Kurshoks in an ancient library. Although the Kurshok never managed to break in, Keeper Rafe died of starvation only leaving behind his journal, as an account of his tale.[1]
Aftermath[]
Many years later, Garrett enters the Sunken Citadel and recovers the Glyph Key from Rafe's remains, and also the crown, which was then used by the keepers to unlock the Compendium of Reproach.[2]
