Pictures, please[]

The article could really benefit from a picture (preferably the frequently seen portrait). Also, I hear he can actually be seen in the game; a screenshot of him would probably be nice, as not many people probably initially find him in Soulforge... --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 23:16, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

There are a couple from a cutscene: Image:T2 CS16 01.jpg,Image:T2 CS16 05.jpg,Image:T2 CS16 08.jpg, and the portrait Image:T2 KarportS.GIF. Sxerks 00:03, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Here's what Karras looks like inside his protective chamber in Soulforge. The player cannot enter this area, but can stand outside the chamber and watch him move about continuously. I used DromEd to get up close.

Excellent work. Thank you, people. Screenshots like the last one would be good examples of what sort of interesting content people come for when they come to specialist wikis... --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 14:27, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

When and where does Karras take credit for the scope in Cragscleft? Big McLargeHuge 01:21, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Haha...never. Nor does he say he made Garrett's eye, but it seems correct to assume that. Oh, and he's not the only inventor ever heard talking about making anything, and there are Hammers making stuff, too. For whomever needs to know. Ehcmier 04:09, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Ehcmier
You're right, he only says he gave him the eye. But if he presented it, he probably made it, and seeing that such devices were only seen within the Order of the Gear later, it is safe to assume that he did make the eye. Big McLargeHuge 02:19, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Like I said, it seems correct to assume that. And you're only saying "Order of the Gear" facetiously, right? Heh heh. Ehcmier 03:27, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Ehcmier

With naturally flammable minerals in the real world, and the strong presence of alchemy in the Thief Universe, as well as things like Fire Crystals, there should be no reason to believe Karras must be fueling his boilers with organic fuels. The bots walking around after the mutox has ceased reacting and settled into dust is a hint that it was not organic fuel. Karras, in his own words, says he would live long enough to make sure the new world was ready for the Builder to arrive, having cleansed it all, and then he himself would breathe in the mutox to destroy his own flesh and join the Builder at his side.
