I just realized that both levels in which the cherub appears, there are sunburst devices available. In Angelwatch, it's used to open a locked door out in the city before entering Angelwatch (but there's also a key there that can be used on the trip home, letting you save the bomb for elsewhere. And it's one of the secret recipies in the Soulforge. I think I'm going to try bombing both cherubs on my next playthrough - has anyone already tried that? I know all normal weapons have no effect, but Sunburst Devices have special properties (like forcing locked doors). 24.69.217.125 06:29, February 28, 2013 (UTC)
Actually it's the door that has the special property; namely Receptron: FireStim. Any fire damage larger than a certain amount "kills" the door. Also, I'm fairly certain that every explosive in the game has been tried on this thing, except perhaps Tiltowait (-3347), and that has exactly the same effect as an explosive charge.
