There are very few policies which apply across all Wikia. These can be found on the Central Wikia at Wikia:Category:Policy.

There are three main sections:

Currently:

  • Mission pages are named "OM_T1_mission title"
  • Mission screenshots are named "OM_T1_mission title_screenshot000.jpg"
• Thief Gold
  • Mission pages start with "OM_TG_mission title"
  • Mission screenshots are named "OM_TG_mission title_screenshot000.jpg"
• Thief II: The Metal Age
  • Mission pages start with "OM_T2_mission title"
  • Mission screenshots are named "OM_T2_mission title_screenshot000.jpg"
• Thief: Deadly Shadows
  • Mission pages start with "OM_TDS_mission title"
  • Mission screenshots are named "OM_TDS_mission title_screenshot000.jpg"

Including:

In general images should be named similarly to the page they are on, unless they have a specific resource name that can be found in the files and folders. Ask if unsure.

  • Fictional story pages named "FF_fiction title_author" and categorized under appropriate "Category:FF_" pages.

  • Main pages named "Category:FA_canon page title" with inter linking between the canon page.
    • Art pages named: "FA_art title_author"
    • Art Images named: "FA_art title_author.jpg"
    • Art Galleries named: "FA_author"
    • And categorized under appropriate "Category:FA_" sub-pages.
• Category:Fan Missions
  • Fan mission pages named FM_XXX_YYY_-_ZZZ
    • XXX - T1,TG,T2,T2X,TDS,TDM
    • YYY - full mission/campaign name
    • ZZZ - Author Name
    • See FM TX full mission name - author

Mainly keeping page/image names organized, and from being potentially conflicting(disambiguous).

Ask if you are unsure on how to name a page or image, it will create less problems later on.

All pages should be accessible in some way via the Main Page, Sidebar, or Categories.
